2001. 19 years ago Ipanema took its first steps in the Brazilian market. The land of sun and joy was a source of inspiration for the creation of the first Ipanema logo by the cartoonist Ziraldo. 2002. It is impossible to talk about Ipanema and not to talk about Gisele Bündchen. The number 1 model in the world began its collaboration with the brand in 2002 for 10 years. The collections have been varied with a single focus: eco sustainability! 2007. In this year the concept "Solo Ipanema" was introduced to inform the world about which features distinguish the brand, making it unique: anatomic sandals, unique prints, variety of models, richness of details.
2011. Following the fashion trends, in 2011 the new Ipanema Unique line was launched with the aim of creating a themed collection diversifying it from year to year. 2015. An important year for the new collaboration with the famous French designer Philippe Starck, definitively decreeing the presence of Ipanema in the international market.
